Job Summary
The Missions Mobilizer plays a vital role in expanding and strengthening mission partnerships by engaging churches, organizations, and individuals in cross-cultural ministry. This position involves recruiting stateside partners, facilitating short-term mission trips, and supporting long-term mission initiatives. Additionally, the Missions Mobilizer collaborates with existing mission teams to ensure their effectiveness, growth, and alignment with SWHarvest’s mission, vision, and goals.
Spiritual Qualifications
- Maintains a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as a baptized believer
- Possesses a passion to see people come to faith in Christ in all nations, with the ability to present the Gospel clearly and concisely
- Believes in and lives out the mission and vision of SWHarvest
- In agreement with the Serving Workers for the Harvest Statement of Faith and committed to living by it
- Demonstrates biblical integrity, humility, resilience, and a servant’s heart (1 Timothy 3; Proverbs 31)
Education & Experience
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Theology, Divinity, Missions, Missiology, or related field)
- Required: Experience in cross-cultural ministry or missions
- Preferred: Strong networking background with churches and mission-focused organizations
- Preferred: Project management experience (especially in mission trip logistics)
- Required: Ability to travel internationally multiple times per year
- Required: Strong public speaking and teaching abilities

- Strong biblical knowledge and ability to teach and lead

- Skilled in CRM systems and partner relationship management

Key Responsibilities
Church & Partner Engagement
- Build relationships with churches, groups, and organizations interested in global missions
- Recruit and equip churches to develop long-term international partnerships
- Present mission opportunities through public speaking, training sessions, and networking
Short-Term Trip Facilitation
- Organize and coordinate short-term mission trips that align with long-term goals
- Partner with local and international ministries to plan logistics (travel, lodging, ministry activities)
- Provide pre-trip training and post-trip debriefing for mission teams
Long-Term Ministry Development
- Connect churches with international partners to foster sustainable, gospel-centered impact
- Support overseas teams in project management and partnership development
- Ensure mission efforts lead to reaching, discipling, and multiplying believers
Administrative & Logistical Support
- Develop and manage mission trip and project budgets with leadership
- Maintain ongoing communication with mission teams, offering resources and guidance
- Utilize CRM tools to track and strengthen partnerships with churches, ministries, and individuals
Compensation
SWHarvest employees are deputized to raise funds for their role. Staff members cultivate partnerships with churches, individuals, and organizations to secure their financial support. Compensation is based on an approved budget, covering both personal and ministry expenses. To ensure success, SWHarvest provides training, coaching, and a strong support system throughout the fundraising process.
