Ministry Purpose

Helping Ukrainians find hope and healing in God
while they are going through trauma related to war.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:9 NIV

Alla and Dima served as missionaries in Ukraine for 15 years. Their activities were devoted to evangelism and discipleship among Ukrainian youth - specifically college students. During these 15 years, they also had two sons.

On February 22, 2022, at 4:30 a.m., the family was awakened by explosions and their lives changed forever. For 14 months, the couple was separated by war, Alla and the boys in the United States and Dima in Ukraine.  They continued to serve, adapting to the new challenges in the midst of war. Not only was this a challenge in ministry but also for their family.

Alla, together with her new Christian friends in the USA, collected and sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine, where Dima distributed it, helping the civilian population, displaced people, hospitals and soldiers. During the evacuation of the civilian population or trips to the frontline areas, Dima always looked for an opportunity to pray for people and share the peace, hope and salvation of the Gospel.

Now God has made it possible for Alla and Dima to be together again and at the same time to provide a safe place for the children in the USA. Despite the fact that they were forced to leave their native country, Alla and Dima have a call from God to continue serving Ukrainians.  They are stepping into that call through discipleship and relief work with Ukranians living in Ukraine and those displaced to the US and other countries.

Dima and Alla have never questioned God's call on their lives.  That has not changed.  They continue to follow His leading as together they step forward into this new season of discipleship and aid in the midst of difficult times.  Their lives are a testament to what God has done and is doing.

Dima and Alla ask you to step into this new season with them.  Join them as they continue to reach out with the love of Jesus, bringing the Gospel to those who desperately need hope and discipling new believers to do the same.
