Position: Nonprofit Mission/Ministry Mobilizer
Job Summary: The Mission Mobilizer provides ministry leaders with direction, and strategy to mobilize grassroots ministries, short-term mission teams, deploy long-term field workers, and partner with international ministries. The Mission Mobilizer is tasked to create and manage teams that help aid and support the mission and ministry of SWH. The goal of the Mission Mobilizer is to mobilize resources to its laborers of the harvest through more prayer, giving, and going. As a mobilizer you will be equipped to guide the hearts, minds, and feet of ministry leaders and staff towards fulfilling the Great Commission through their ministries. The mission of the Mission Mobilizer is to invite organizations, churches, as well as individuals and ministries to collaborate in the work God is doing through SWH around the globe, by mobilizing prayer warriors; sending out short-term mission teams; challenging ministries to expand their borders, deploying long-term field workers, domestically or overseas, to share the gospel, make disciples, and plant churches where none currently exist. This position is responsible for ensuring all leadership, mobilization, and communication clearly align with SWH’s mission, vision, biblical principles, and values.
Location: Remote with frequent travel to Texas & Florida
Hours: 40+ Hrs./Week
Compensation: Negotiable (This is a missionary/support-raised position)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in Biblical Studies, Intercultural Studies, or a Related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum Prior Experience Required:
- Preferred experience of 4 years or more in international missions
- Relevant supervisory ministry experience required
- Previously acquired cross-cultural preparation highly preferred
Basic Qualifications:
- A baptized believer of Jesus Christ who upholds a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Knowledgeable in biblical doctrine
- Must have a passion to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ with the ability and experience to effectively present the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a clear and concise gospel message
- Agreement with and willingness to live by the doctrinal convictions as set forth in the current Serving Workers for the Harvest Doctrinal Statement.
- Highly proficient at using technology to communicate, including phone, e-mail, text, social media, and online video communication. Willing and able to learn new technologies.
- Ability to respond with clear thinking during stressful situations.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Demonstrates willingness to be held accountable to SWH while also displaying a teachable spirit

Essential Duties:
- Reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Build relationships to facilitate partnerships with colleges, universities, churches, ministry organizations and volunteers in the United States expanding the reach of SWH through the nurturing of these relationships
- Lead mission mobilization teams to establish functioning workflows for themselves, organizational personnel, and applicants to short-term and/or long-term mission work
- Lead the teams to implement a relationship cultivation strategy with prospective missionaries (lead generation and management)
- Develop and execute SWH’s vision to recruit potential individuals to join mission work as for short- and long-term workers
- Establish annual and long-term goals and objectives for the mission mobilization team
- Secure prayer and financial support through promotional efforts
- Raise funds for SWH following the SWH Fully Funded Policy, demonstrating sound financial stewardship of funds raised
- Effectively communicate vision and information with donors, churches, and others in written form, various digital technologies, and live and video-based presentations
- Approve all formal communications (digital or printed) created or sent on behalf of the mobilization department according to organization protocol
- Attend meetings, retreats, and conferences as requested
- Report field activity monthly in a timely and accurate manner, or as requested
- Maintain and promote clear lines of communication with the Chief Executive Officer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The work environment and physical demands are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will also be required to travel domestically and internationally from ten to twenty days at a time. Monitor cash balances, keeping in mind fund availability

Review & verify substantiation of expense receipts, etc.

Review month-end transactions

Continual training in compliance & accounting functions

Monitor & update charitable solicitation info

Maintain Excel spreadsheets as needed

Prepare & verify year-end activities (annual donor statements, balance all accounts for audit reports)

Prepare & update annual financial reports for auditor, IRS, ECFA

Work with auditor providing requested information for the audit & 990

Monitor Compliance Requirements - Legal and Ethical

Short Term Mission

- Provide mentorship to students at both Primary and Secondary levels.
- Shape attitudes, build confidence, and enhance knowledge bases to empower students for a brighter future.
- Trainer of Trainer Sessions:
- Conduct sessions for teachers and community leaders, focusing on mentorship skills.
- Empower local educators and leaders to effectively mentor and guide the youth in the community.
- Community Engagement:
- Actively participate in church programs and community activities.
- Gain a deep understanding of the community's culture and social behavior to better connect with and serve the local population.
- After School Education and Homework Assistance:
- Assist students with after-school education.
- Provide support and guidance to students in completing their homework assignments.
- Collaboration with OLCAP Team:
- Regularly meet with the OLCAP team for assessment, encouragement, and feedback.
- Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective communication and continuous improvement.
Additional Requirement: Fundraising
- This position will require active participation in fundraising activities to support the mission.
- Engage with donors and supporters to secure financial resources for the program.
- Training and guidance will be provided to ensure successful fundraising efforts.
