Mission

Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Evangelism, Spiritual Growth and Socioeconomic Advancement.

Vision

The leaders are the servants of God to serve people towards the promotion and protection of humanity and advancement of our shared well-being.

The The Church of Pakistan Lahore Diocesan Council (COPLDC) has been used by God over almost 150 years for the blessing of the peoples of Pakistan and beyond. It originally covered a huge area, at one time from Dhaka in modern-day Bangladesh across to the Persian Gulf. By the grace of God, the ministry multiplied and so that area is now covered by many national churches and dioceses. In Pakistan itself, as the Lord grew the work, other dioceses came into being across the country.

Nevertheless, the current boundaries still cover a huge area, including part or all of districts covering an area of 34,000 square kilometres (13,127 square miles) with a combined population of 38 million people, of whom 55% live in rural areas (2017 Census). The megacity of Lahore (population 11 million) and strategically important capital city of Islamabad are within the Diocese.

Across the region, we have some 90 churches, 20 schools and several other institutions serving the people of northern and central Punjab irrespective of caste or creed. Despite facing many challenges, we are looking to God to help us keep reaching out with the love of Christ to those around us.
