Since its inception in 2008, the International Mission Society has dispatched 58 missionaries over the past 16 years to regions including Pakistan, North Kenya, Somalia, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Botswana, Mali, Chad, China, South Sudan, Dubai, Djibouti, Eritrea, Guyana, Ghana, Lesotho, and Sierra Leone.
Through a combination of direct missionary engagement, tent-making service, and the training and deployment of missionaries, IMS has exceeded expectations despite its late start. The proliferation of churches, provision of comprehensive services, and cultivation of indigenous missionary leadership attest to the church's role as a significant participant in global mission work, akin to the 11th-hour laborers in Matthew 20:1-16.
Future Plans:
In the realm of future plans, EECMY IMS is actively preparing to deploy an additional 20 missionaries to regions spanning West Africa, East Africa, Turkey, Israel, Morocco, Egypt, and Guinea Conakry.
Given that the mission of IMS stands as the cornerstone of the church's vision and labor, the collective prayers, thoughts, and financial backing from all synods, parishes/presbyteries, congregations, and collaborative departments are deeply valued.
Hence, the appeal is made in the name of the Missionary God, urging individuals to extend their support by offering prayers for missionary endeavors and the recruitment of workers across the globe. Additionally, individuals can contribute to global mission efforts by joining the mission society, serving as trustee members, or participating in various groups and collaborative departments.
