Moving Forward With Hope

April 1, 2026

Bob and I would like to share and update you on what we are seeing as our main focus in this season. The Launching Pad is finally full. We have 5 men which is the maximum we can have in that house in Elk River. The Lord is showing us to focus on the Launching Pad men. We have had this as a focus of course but now we are to be involved more in their daily lives. We have learned though out these last almost 7 years many things- what works and what doesn’t work.

  • 1:1 Mentoring
  • Meeting weekly with Inner Healing team.
  • Having patience. The process of recovering from addiction takes time. The addicted person needs to realize and accept that and their family and friends as well. We as board members and those of us involved in the daily ministry have come to that realization.
  • Every person is different. They have different needs. What works is to treat each individual according to their needs.
  • Being flexible, yet maintaining certain guidelines in the program that protects and respects all men.
