He then served as a pastor for a time, and now for nearly forty years in international missions. During the 1980’s and 1990’s, Al and his wife, Betty, served in an “underground” ministry of training church leaders in communist Eastern Europe, and the old Soviet Union. Al has served in leadership of three different mission organizations, and has traveled in that capacity to dozens of countries around the world. Since Betty’s death in 2013, Al has continued his missionary service, including various field ministry visits to Europe, Asia and Africa.
Macky Mickleson
Chief Executive Officer
Born and raised in an Asian home, Macky entered into the field of Business at a very early age. Macky has had a thriving career in the corporate world where he pioneered in supporting the launch of a new business line nationally for the company. Just around a decade ago Macky was called into Missional Business. In addition to serving as the Chief Executive Officer for SWH, he is also engaged in training, discipling and helping form new national led teams in South East Asia and in the African continent in Missional Business.
Kris Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Kris has long been passionate about serving missionaries and ministry leaders in an administrative role. She began working with a Christian non-profit early in 2000 when she was challenged to take on the accounting function and business operations of a small mission organization that was going through some changes.
In 2005, she was challenged to look into starting a new type of mission organization. Over the next 15 years, God blessed the organization and it grew beyond expectations.
In late 2021, Kris was once again challenged to look into starting another mission organization. Again, God opened doors, provided new opportunities, leadership, and direction. Kris helped launch Serving Workers for the Harvest on January 1, 2022!
