True ministry is rarely comfortable, but on the frontlines of Northern Nigeria, it demands a willingness to risk everything. At Perfect Edifiers, a global team memebr of Serving Workers for the Harvest, we are privileged to partner with and mentor frontline ministers whose stories read like chapters from the Book of Acts.
Consider the testimony of one of our regional partners, the son of a late reverend who spent years running from his calling while pursuing regular secular work. Time and again, those opportunities closed, and God began speaking to him through vivid visions of unreached people groups living in difficult and dangerous territories.
Today, he serves at a COCIN church in a high-risk area heavily impacted by conflict and regional attacks. Despite facing severe instability, personal discouragement, and opposition from critics who questioned his ability to lead such a challenging ministry, his commitment to God’s calling remains steadfast.
Together with Perfect Edifiers, he has helped organize critical youth seminars, couples’ development programs, house-to-house evangelism efforts, and trauma healing workshops for pastors and individuals affected by violence and displacement. Through these ministries, lives are being restored, communities are finding hope, and the Gospel continues to reach those who need it most.
