The Lahore Diocesan Theological College (LDTC), an initiative of the Church of Pakistan Lahore Diocesan Council (COPLDC), joyfully welcomed a new batch of four students as the academic year moved forward. This occasion marked a special moment of fellowship and community as senior students, faculty, and clergy gathered to embrace their new colleagues with warmth and encouragement.

The welcome began with a simple gathering in the Cathedral precincts, where senior students extended greetings and shared words of support for those just beginning their theological journey. The spirit of hospitality and shared purpose was evident, reminding everyone that LDTC is more than a place of study—it is a community rooted in faith, prayer, and service.

Following the introductions, the group joined together for a welcome lunch. In the college library, which continues to serve both as a classroom and community space, students and teachers sat side by side around the table. Conversations flowed easily as stories, laughter, and hopes for the future were exchanged. The meal was not only a time of nourishment but also a visible expression of the fellowship that defines the LDTC experience.
For the senior students, welcoming the new batch was a chance to reflect on their own journey of growth and perseverance through the past year. For the newcomers, it was an encouraging reminder that they were stepping into a supportive environment shaped by friendship, faith, and guidance.
Although resources remain modest, the heart of LDTC lies in its people—the dedicated students, volunteer faculty, and church leaders who remain committed to forming ministers equipped to serve with wisdom and compassion. Every shared prayer, every class, and every act of fellowship continues to strengthen this small but vibrant community.
✨ As the new students begin their studies, the LDTC family presses forward together—walking in unity, growing in faith, and preparing a new generation of leaders for the mission of the Church.
