Building Fellowship and Faith Across the Islamabad District
On August 29, 2025, the Church of Pakistan Lahore Diocesan Council Women’s Fellowship (COPLDCWF) organized a quarterly outreach and fellowship meeting for the Islamabad District at St. Mary’s Church, Westridge, Rawalpindi. The gathering brought together women from four local churches — Christ Church Rawalpindi, St. Mary’s Church Westridge, St. Andrew’s Church Gawal Mandi, and St. Thomas Church Islamabad — to celebrate faith, community, and the power of women walking together in Christ.
More than 50 women from these congregations participated in a time of worship, reflection, and joyful fellowship. Each church presented a short skit depicting remarkable women from the Bible, highlighting their courage, obedience, and unwavering faith. These performances deeply resonated with participants, inspiring them to see how they, too, can serve as instruments of God’s grace and leadership within their own communities.

This outreach initiative has opened new doors for relationship-building among diocesan churches, fostering unity, understanding, and collaboration. It has significantly reduced the gaps between congregations, as women from different districts are now connecting, sharing experiences, and working together in faith. Historically, this area had not been given focused attention, but through COPLDCWF’s efforts, women are now receiving recognition and appreciation for their contributions to church life and ministry.

The event concluded with a fellowship dinner, where participants shared stories, testimonies, and encouragement — weaving together a beautiful tapestry of sisterhood and shared purpose.
This gathering stands as a shining example of COPLDCWF’s vision to empower, equip, and connect women across diocesan churches — strengthening relationships, deepening discipleship, and celebrating the collective impact of women united in Christ.
